When we talk about the games, football is the one which is most
popular among all the games. People of Europe,North America and South
America, have the madness about this game. Even we can say that
without football their enjoyment is not completely satisfied. Football
is also known by the name of Soccer in the United Kingdom. Another

Football is the game in which two teams can play at one time. Each
team can have maximum of 11 players. Time limit for this game is about
of 90 minutes. There are two half's,with 45 minutes assigned for each
half. Spherical ball is being used in this game. Both teams have the
final destination of pushing this spherical ball in the opposite team
goal post. The team which scored more number of goals,finally win the
match. The goalkeeper is the only person who is allowed to touch the
ball by his hand, within the given limited area. If any other player
touch's the ball by his hand, it called as foul.
Football World Cup is being organised in every four years, known as
FIFA(Federation International de Football Association) world cup.
Teams like Brazil,Argentina,France,Germany,England,Portugal,Italy are
some of the renowned name in this game.
TV channels from all over the world, try to get the wrights for
broadcasting this game. Companies from all over the world used famous
players of this game for the promotion of their products. Various
companies like Addidas,Nike have sponsoring contracts with its
federation.
In India Football is famous but not like the other nations. India
never get the chance to qualify for the world cup. |
